Crimeware - Meaning

'Crimeware', is a new term used to describe a group of malicious software, that is specially designed to automate tasks of 'Financial Crime'. Crimeware typically uses Social Engineering to make stealing valuable data that leads to financial crimes possible.

Most crimeware consists of malware such as trojans, spyware, worms, and other items such as phishing via adware and SPAM.
