According to an article on SoftPedia, a revolutionary microprocessor is in the making. The prototype of this processor will be shown on April 30, 2007. Developed over the past seven years by Professors Doug Burger, Stephen Keckler and Kathryn McKinley in collaboration with IBM's Austin Research Lab, and partly funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), ths is the fastest processor to be develped yet.
