Intel SSR212 series storage servers

The Intel Storage Server SSR212 series is designed to be a multipurpose storage server; one they say can be classified as "multipurpose white boxes". These servers are desgned to work as DAS (Direct Attached Storage), NAS (Network Attached Storage) as well as SAN (Storage Area Network) servers. The SSR212 series of servers currently include the Intel® Storage Server SSR212MC2, the Intel® Storage System SSR212CC, the Intel® Storage System SSR212PP based on EMC AX150* technology, and the Intel® Storage System SSR212MA.
Intel also offers the Intel® Entry Storage System SS4000-E for homes, and small businesses that need more storage (upto 2 TB) at low costs.
